Army, Navy, or Air Force??
Apparently I'm not cut out for a branch of the military...

Take the quiz:
Which Military Branch Do You Belong In?

Civilian
You do not wish to fight. You wish to stay home and away from it all. Most likely you are against war and excessive military power.

Lack a daisy all
That's how I feel, only I don't know how to spell it. I feel lazy and I still have homework to do. I got home an hour and a half ago after Mock Trial (which doesn't say much because it is now 10:30) and I haven't done any homework. I just watched an ice-skating movie about a girl who turned down Harvard and then I went upstairs to ponder whether or not this would be a good time to start some homework. Obviously, I am not currently doing that.
Now, if it was eight in the morning and I had gotten a good night's rest and I didn't feel like running out of every class I go to from boredom or just pure dread of the loominess of after-school activities, then maybe calculus would be an easy, satisfying pastime. Unfortunately, it is far from and my foot is falling asleep and so when I get up from this chair I will feel both incredibly tired and I will have a weird, sort of painful tingling sensation on my foot.
Can we say totally excited?

I belong in London!!
You Belong in London

A little old fashioned, and a little modern.
A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock.
A unique woman like you needs a city that offers everything.
No wonder you and London will get along so well.

Question for the Witty
Does reading in the dark really affect your vision and make it worse? And do carrots really improve your vision? Because I have heard these things are myths. And I have also have Buck steal my book in English class while we're watching a movie in class because he's convinced I am making my eyes worse. People should publish reliable, scientific accounts of these things!!

new heights
I got a new flute excercise book and after playing one hour of band, thirty minutes of sectionals, a dentist appointment, and two hours of after school jazz, I played out of that book for about an hour. Then I tried to tackle the collection french music I got from my flute teacher for Christmas. Oh man. If you ever pick up any french peice for the first time you know it will sound nothing like what its supposed to sound like. A bunch of runs and sixteenths could really be slow and melodic phrases. And besides that, even if you KNOW what it's supposed to sound like it STILL sounds unnatural. Unfortunately, I only know how fast "Andante" or "Allegro" is by comparison of the peices I already know. Word to the wary: If you are tired, and you try to go musique de la francais, then don't expect much. I am DRAINED. And unsatisfied.

Myspace really sucks. Nowadays whenever I sign on, there is always some change being made that makes the website temporarily unavailable. Apparently, temporarily is the new "FOREVER"!!

Scandalous!!
Hey I just wanted to see if the school computers had blocked livejournal. Apparently not!! YEA!! Hopefully no one will pirate my password or anything like that...Today I have my english final and I didn't study last night. FOR ANYTHING. I didn't (well, couldn't) bring my saxophone home to practice. I told my dad to cross his fingers. He said, "Of course." LOL. It was amusing.

That's a First
Today I ate mousse for breakfast and then took a quiz on italian food. Apparently, I couldn't tell you which was the healthier menu choice 6 times out of 9. When I then found out that mousse is in fact a chocolate mutation of whipped cream, I suddenly didn't feel so good.
